Unsuccessful Tea Party candidate Christine O'Donnell is returns almost $20,000 in campaign contributions.
"It is unclear why O'Donnell returned the funds. Candidates often send back donations if the amount exceeds the legal limit of $2,500 per individual.
O'Donnell is reportedly being investigated by federal authorities for allegedly using campaign funds to pay personal bills, such as her rent. She has denied the allegations, saying they are politically motivated."
